Chilo Morán was a Mexican trumpet and bugle player, born on November 19, 1930, and passed away on April 8, 1999. He was primarily known for his work in jazz and had a notable career as an orchestra lead and session musician. Throughout his career, he collaborated with prestigious orchestras, including the Orquesta de Agustin Lara, Orquesta Juan Garcia Esquivel, Chico O'Farrill, and Orquesta Pablo Bertrán Ruiz. Additionally, he played alongside renowned musicians such as Clare Fischer and Wynton Marsalis, although he had few solo recordings.
