Chilo Moran was a Mexican trumpet and bugle player, born on November 19, 1930, and passed away on April 8, 1999. He was primarily known for his work in jazz and had a distinguished career as an orchestra lead and session musician. Throughout his career, Moran played with prestigious orchestras, including the Orquesta de Agustin Lara, Orquesta Juan Garcia Esquivel, Chico O'Farrill, and Orquesta Pablo Bertrán Ruiz. He also collaborated with notable musicians such as Clare Fischer and Wynton Marsalis, although he had few solo recordings.
