Manoshi Chitra Neogy is an Indian filmmaker, actress, poet, performer, and film professor at New York University. She graduated from Calcutta University and the Royal Academy of Arts in England. Neogy has written and directed numerous award-winning documentaries, including the independent films "Woman-Self" and "A Journey Within A Journey," both of which have received accolades in the U.S. and internationally. At NYU, she teaches classes on transformative and experimental cinema.
