Chocolate Milk is a US funk group that was formed in 1974 in New Orleans, Louisiana. They had early sessions with a producer that led to their signing in the summer of 1975. The group released their first single, which reached #15 on the R&B chart and #69 on the pop chart, and was frequently sampled during the hip hop era. Over their career, they released a total of 8 albums for RCA. Other notable hits include songs that reached #14 and #15 on the R&B chart. Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 1983 after their final album did not achieve chart success.
