Chris & Cosey, formed in 1981, consisted of Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. They were known for releasing a series of post-industrial and synth albums throughout the 1980s and early 90s. In addition to their albums, they produced more experimental material and collaborations under their own label, Creative Technology Institute (CTI). At the turn of the century, they retired the name Chris & Cosey and began releasing music as Carter Tutti.
