Chris & Cosey, formed in 1981, consisted of Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. They were known for their post-industrial and synth albums released throughout the 1980s and early 90s. In addition to their music, they produced more experimental material and collaborations under their Creative Technology Institute (CTI). At the turn of the century, they retired the Chris & Cosey name and began releasing music as Carter Tutti.
