Chris Wind is a composer known for his diverse range of musical works, including classically-inclined solo piano pieces such as "Stillwood," "For Amelia," and "Preludes." His repertoire also features solo saxophone compositions accompanied by nature sounds, haunting solo flute pieces, a lament for solo viola, works for solo cello, as well as collaborations for piano and vocalise, and piano and flute ("Ruby Rose"). In addition to his acoustic compositions, Chris creates electronic soundscapes in works like "Rocks and Trees" and "AudioVisions," along with electroacoustic fusions found in "Paintings." He engages in social commentary through collage pieces like "The Art of Juxtaposition" and "ProVocative," and has produced a radical Christmas album titled "Chris Wind’s Christmas Album." His creativity extends to poetry set to sound in "Dreaming of Kaleidoscopes." Chris Wind offers mp3s for download at his website, including background parts for performance pieces, all free of charge. He also writes under the names Peg Tittle and Jass Richards, with epub and pdf versions of his works available for free download at their respective sites.
