Christiane Felscherinow, born on May 20, 1962, in Hamburg, Germany, became widely known as Christiane F after publishing her autobiographical book "Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Zoo" in 1978. The book details her heroin addiction and the lives of teenage drug-users and sex workers in West Berlin's Bahnhof Zoo area. Her life story gained further recognition when it was adapted into a film in 1981, featuring a soundtrack by David Bowie. Following the movie's success, she released a couple of records. In the early 1980s, Felscherinow was in a relationship with a member of a German industrial band and collaborated on his project. They both appeared in the 1983 German film "Decoder." In 2013, she published a second autobiographical book titled "Mein Zweites Leben," which explores the later part of her life.
