Christophe was a French singer and songwriter born on October 13, 1945, in Juvisy-sur-Orge. He passed away on April 16, 2020, due to emphysema. He began his musical career with his first band, Dany and the Hooligans. As a solo artist, Christophe achieved significant commercial success with his hit "Aline" in 1965 and continued to release popular songs throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Some of his songs from the 1970s were co-written with various collaborators.
