Chris Taylor (1929-1982) was a UK flautist known for his versatility in both classical and jazz music. He was a pupil of notable instructors and spent his early career as a solo flutist with various orchestras, including performances at Covent Garden, London. In addition to his classical work, he was a session flautist, contributing to film and TV music, and recorded works by composers such as Bach, Telemann, and Vivaldi. Later in his career, he served as a flute professor at the Royal Academy of Music from 1981 to 1982. He was also the brother of another notable individual.
