**Bio: Christopher Young** Christopher Young, born in 1957 in Red Bank, New Jersey, is a renowned film and television music composer. He studied music at Hampshire College in Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts, and later completed post-graduate work at North Texas State University. In 1980, Young moved to Los Angeles, where he initially worked as a jazz drummer and attended UCLA Film School, where he was mentored by a notable film composer. During his time at UCLA, he began scoring student films and connected with filmmakers who would later collaborate with him on various projects. Young scored his first studio picture in 1982 and quickly established himself in the horror genre throughout the 1980s, showcasing his remarkable talent. However, his versatility allows him to compose music across all genres, from horror and thrillers to comedies. Over his successful career, Christopher Young has produced more than 100 works, each effectively enhancing the atmosphere of the films they accompany. He is known for his sensitivity to contemporary trends and his creative approach to a variety of artistic influences. Young's notable film scores include "Highpoint," "Godzilla 1985," "Hellraiser," "The Fly II," "Virtuosity," "Copycat," "Spider-Man 2," "Ghost Rider," and "Drag Me To Hell," among many others.
