Chromosome is a psytrance project created by Swedish artists Anders "Andy" Nilsson and Linus Eriksson. Previously known for their famous DVM Studios in Barcelona, they now reside in a villa on the Portuguese Riviera and have returned to their Scandinavian hometown, where many of their most notable tracks were conceived. From a young age, they discovered the mystical dimension of psytrance, which they describe as the foundation for music production and the essence through which ineffable music can be manifested. Their journey began with a vinyl release on the legendary Spiral Trax, leading to their rise as a popular act booked for festivals worldwide, including Boom, Rainbow Serpent, Trancendence, Ozora, and Indeepandance. They have remixed tracks for artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Bamboo Forest, Silicon Sound, and Logic Bomb. Previous members of the project include Serba Milojevic and Peter Malmberg, and they have also performed under aliases such as Andromeda, Endorian, and Soul Surfer.
