Chuck Cockerham was recruited in 1966 as the lead vocalist for a music group, where he sang a cover of Leon Heywood's "It’s Got To Be Mellow." He is best known for his 1969 soul anthem "Have I Got A Right," released under Bell/Mala. After a brief solo career, Chuck became a dedicated member of Bill Pinkney’s group.
