Chuck Jackson is an American singer, producer, and songwriter born on March 22, 1945, in Greenville, South Carolina. He began his career as a songwriter in 1969, crafting songs such as "If It's Real What I Feel" and "Walk Easy My Son." In the early 1970s, he formed a soul group with Marvin, and after the group's disbandment, they continued as a successful songwriting and producing duo. Together, they created some of the biggest hits for artists, including "This Will Be," "Inseparable," "Sophisticated Lady," "Our Love," and "I've Got Love on My Mind." They also produced material for various other artists. Chuck Jackson pursued a solo career, recording two albums titled "Gonna Getcha' Love" and "Passionate Breezes" under the name Charles Jackson. He is also the half-brother of another artist. It is important not to confuse him with the early American soul/R&B singer born in 1937.
