Chuck Norris (born August 11, 1921, in Kansas City, MO – died August 26, 1989) was an American jazz and blues guitarist. He worked in Chicago until the mid-’40s before moving to the West Coast following a failed marriage. Between 1947 and 1951, he recorded several records in Los Angeles for labels such as Coast, Imperial, Selective, Mercury, and Aladdin. His final two recordings were made in New York City for Atlantic in 1953. Norris backed artists including Floyd Dixon, Little Willie Littlefield, and Ray Agee, and released a full-length live album titled The Los Angeles Flash in 1980.
