Chuck Senrick is a singer, songwriter, and pianist/keyboardist hailing from Minnesota, born on November 6, 1955. Growing up in Farmington, he developed an interest in music at an early age, particularly drawn to the family piano. By the age of 15, he began his professional career with a local band called John Zimmer and The C4, performing cover songs for audiences at The Sea Girt Inn in Lake Orchard, Minnesota. After graduating from Farmington High School, Senrick moved to the Twin Cities at age 20 to further pursue his musical ambitions. He borrowed equipment and lived in friends' apartments, recording music with just a Fender Rhodes Piano and a Donca Matic Mini Pops drum machine. He released his sole album independently, producing only 200 copies, which he distributed personally at live shows. The cover art for the album was illustrated by his wife at the time, featuring a portrait of him against the Minneapolis skyline. In the early 1980s, Chuck relocated to Peoria, Illinois, where he performed at Jim's Steak House for over four decades until his retirement in October 2024. He also spent some time entertaining guests at a restaurant in Anna Maria Island, Florida, before returning to Jim's at their new location in Bloomington in the mid-1990s. Currently, he resides in La Vista, Nebraska, and continues to create and make music.
