Chuck Strong is an American Southern Soul singer and songwriter, born in Selma, Alabama in 1962. He began his music career with a local group called the Oasis Band before becoming the lead singer of a notable act, which led to touring with Southern Soul legends such as Johnnie Taylor and Tyrone Davis. Strong gained recognition with his solo radio single "Rock That Man In The Boat," from the album "Let's Get Back Together" (Waldoxy), which became his first significant Southern Soul hit and was widely played on stations throughout the Deep South during the autumn and winter of 2004. He is affiliated with BMI under the IPI #: 232962960.
