**Bio: Chuito El De Bayamon** Real Name: Jesús Sánchez Erazo Chuito El De Bayamon, also known as "El Decano de los Cantores," was born in Bayamón on August 24, 1900, and passed away in Bayamón on January 25, 1979. He was the first jíbara music singer to be heard on the radio. Chuito began his career with the Conjunto Típico Ladí, alongside cuatrista Archilla, guitarist Don Felo, and güirero Toribio, when they were known as the group Industrias Nativas. It was during this time that he received the name “Chuíto el de Bayamón” from Maestro Ladislao Martínez "Ladi." In the 1950s, he continued his career with his group Los Madrugadores, which is now known as the Trío Cialeño, featuring cuatrista Pancho Ortiz Piñeiro, and later with the group of cuatrista Nieves Quintero under the Ansonia label. He also performed with Maso Rivera and Su Conjunto.
