Ciço do Pará, born Cícero Corrêa de Souza in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, Brazil, was raised in Pará, which inspired his nickname. He is the son of poet Hildebrando de Souza. Throughout his career, Ciço do Pará recorded more than 12 albums and had approximately 16 of his original songs recorded by various artists.
