Cincinnato was an Italian Jazz Rock Fusion and Prog Rock group formed near Varese. Initially known as Eros Natura, the band changed their name in 1972 at the suggestion of their record company, PDU. Their only album, titled "Cincinnato," was recorded in just three days in a single take, but the band disbanded in 1973, with the album released in 1974. The lineup included members on keyboards and vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. In 2010, two original members, Giacomo Urbanelli and Gianni Fantuzzi, reformed the group, joined by Franco Erenti on keyboards and Paolo Burattin on bass, both of whom had previously collaborated with the band in the 1970s. In 2016, they released a CD under the new name Thauma Cincinnato.
