Clan Of Xymox is a band that originated in Holland in 1983, known for their dark and moody electronic music that later became associated with the darkwave genre. They initially shortened their name to Xymox in 1988, but this era concluded in 1997. During a revival in the gothic scene, Ronny Moorings decided to revive Clan Of Xymox, returning to his musical roots.
