Clannad is an Irish family group that began in the early 1970s, originally focusing on folk, folk-rock, and folk fusion. With their 1982 album, they transitioned to a style of folk-based music that incorporated synthesizers and electronic production techniques. The band is fronted by Máire Ní Bhraonáin, who is known for recreating her vocals from "Theme From Harry's Game" for Chicane's hit "Saltwater." Clannad has received numerous accolades, including an Ivor Novello Award and a BAFTA.
