Clap! Clap! is the project of Italian producer Cristiano Crisci, dedicated to the exploration and sampling of tribes, bands, and singers from the African continent. Known for his eclectic and percussive style, Clap! Clap! employs a distinctive technique that blends classic African rhythms with contemporary elements through the use of drum machines and synths. His work embodies the concepts of ‘future roots’ and ‘future rhythm,’ aiming to create a continuous dance that is febrile, tribal, and hyper-kinetic, while maintaining a sense of elegance and essentiality in the elements used.
