Claude Vinh-San (1934–2016) was a pioneering French jazz musician and composer, renowned for founding the Jazz Tropical genre. Born in Saint-Denis, Réunion Island, he was the son of Vietnamese Emperor Duy Tân and Fernande Antier. Vinh-San played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Réunionese séga music scene from the 1950s onward. His notable work includes the album "Claude Vinh San et le Jazz Tropical," released in 2008.
