Claude François, commonly known as Cloclo, was a French pop star born on February 1, 1939, in Ismailia, Egypt. He was a talented musician, skilled as a drummer and violinist, and also worked as a songwriter, producer, label owner, and dancer. François was one of the first major artists in France to establish his own publishing and production company and label. He is best known outside of France as the co-writer of the song "Comme d’Habitude," which gained international fame through a rewritten version titled "My Way." He passed away on March 11, 1978, in Paris, France.
