Claude Huey was a soul singer from the West Coast of the USA, active in the 1960s. He released a handful of 45s towards the end of the decade. Huey collaborated with Jesse “Ozz” Osborne, a childhood friend from San Francisco, after leaving the Air Force. Their first musical partnership led them to present a couple of songs to Galaxy owners Sol Weiss and Saul Zaentz, whom Osborne had known from his time with The Sperlings. Weiss enlisted Ray Shanklin to produce Huey's song “Feel Good All Over,” which marked the beginning of their Early Bird subsidiary.
