Claudio Sanna, born in 1957 in Alghero, Sardinia, is a singer-songwriter and composer. He began his artistic career in 1981 by forming the musical association Càlic, a prominent group in Sardinian-Catalan music, where he served as artistic director until 2003. During this time, he focused on the recovery of the musical and cultural traditions of Alghero and Sardinia. After 22 years with Càlic, he pursued a solo career while continuing to perform concerts. In 2004, he formed a new group called the Rall trio, collaborating with two Catalan musicians.
