Claudja Barry is a disco and Hi-NRG singer-songwriter born in 1952 in Jamaica and raised in Toronto, Canada. She was married to a producer. Throughout her career, she has released several notable hits, including "Sweet Dynamite" (1976), "Johnny, Johnny Please Come Home" (1978), "Boogie Woogie Dancin' Shoes" (1979), "Work Me Over" (1982), "Down And Counting" (1986), "Can't You Feel My Heart Beat" (1987), and "Secret Affair" (1987).
