Claustrofobia is a Spanish music group founded in 1982 by Pedro Burruezo and Mª José Peña. Initially known as Sintonía Astral, they are pioneers in "mestizos" sounds. The group later expanded with the addition of Antoni Baltar and Sebastián Montesinos. As a trio, Burruezo, Peña, and Baltar recorded their first works. However, in 1987, the group reverted to the original duo format. Claustrofobia ceased to exist in the late 1990s.
