The Clientele are a three-piece band formed in Hampshire in 1997, brought together by their shared love of various musical influences. Over time, the impact of 70s AM radio songwriters became evident in their sound, alongside a fascination with minimalist arrangements and jazz chords and rhythms. Their music has been described as if it is beaming in from a long-wave radio on a late lonely night.
