Clifford Jordan was an American jazz tenor saxophonist, born on September 2, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, and he passed away on March 3, 1993. He was known for his work in the hard bop and post-bop styles of jazz. Throughout his career, Jordan collaborated with many notable musicians and recorded several albums as a bandleader. He was also known for his contributions to the development of jazz in Chicago and New York.
