Climaco Sarmiento was a Colombian composer, arranger, band leader, and musician known for his skills on the saxophone and clarinet. Born in Soplaviento, Bolívar in 1916, he made significant contributions to music throughout his life. He passed away on February 1, 1986, in Cartagena.
