Clinic is a band formed in 1997 following the demise of another group. They gained early recognition with their debut single "IPC Subeditors Dictate Our Youth," which made BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel's end-of-year Festive Fifty. Their debut album, "Internal Wrangler," featured the track "Second Line," which was used in a Levi's jeans TV advertisement. The band's sophomore album included "Walking With Thee," which led to an appearance on The David Letterman Show in the United States. Additionally, the track "Come Into Our Room" from the same album was featured in episodes of the US shows CSI and The O.C. Their fourth album, "Visitations," included "If You Could Read Your Mind," which appeared in the 2007 film "Hallam Foe." Clinic is known for their distinctive live performances, often wearing medical scrubs and hiding their faces behind surgical masks. The members of the band are Jonathan Hartley, Ade Blackburn, Brian Campbell, and Carl Turner.
