Peter Rauhofer, known by his alias Club 69, was one of the most popular figures in the music scene during the 1990s. Initially, he released music under various aliases, with 'Unique' (1991) being his first notable release. This track was part of a compilation project of the same name and featured the vocals of several artists. In 1992, a remix of 'Unique' and the single 'Let Me Be Your Underwear' gained significant attention in Europe and North America, becoming club hits. Rauhofer collaborated with a musical group he founded in 1991 with Georg O. Luksch, and his work with them since 1987 helped propel their success. The following year, he continued this momentum with the track 'Take A Ride,' featuring vocal talents from various artists. His first album, 'Adults Only,' included previous hits and new singles such as 'Diva,' 'Warm Leatherette,' 'Sugar Pie Guy,' and 'Fantasy.' In 1997, Club 69 made a comeback with the single 'Drama' and a full album titled 'Style,' which included a collaboration with another artist. Rauhofer and Luksch also gained fame as remix producers under the Club 69 name, remixing popular artists and releasing the 'Club 69 Future Mix' series on two full mixed albums.
