Clue J and The Blues Blasters was one of the first groups of musicians to be recorded by notable producers. The lineup included Clue J (vocals) and Carl McLaughlin (sax), with additional musicians joining the group later. This ensemble of session musicians played a significant role in the ska era, contributing to nearly every Jamaican producer's recordings during that time.
