S.C.U.M is a British post-punk/art rock band formed in early 2008 in London. The initial line-up consisted of Thomas Cohen (vocals), Bradley Baker (machines, press), Samuel Kilcoyne (keyboards), Ruaridh Connellan (drums), and Joseph Williams (bass). After Williams left early in the band's career, he was replaced by Huw Webb (bass) and Melissa Rigby (drums). The band takes its name from the SCUM Manifesto, an ironic reference to its all-male lineup before Connellan's dismissal. S.C.U.M released their debut single "Visions Arise" on Loog Records on 15 September 2008.
