Cochemea Gastelum is a saxophonist, composer, and bandleader whose deeply rooted sound bridges jazz, funk, soul, and indigenous traditions. A longtime member of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, he has also collaborated with artists such as Amy Winehouse, The Roots, and Archie Shepp. His solo work, including *All My Relations* and *Vol. II: Baca Sewa*, explores ancestral themes through rhythmic, spiritual jazz. Guided by heritage and improvisation, Cochemea creates music that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
