Colin Blunstone is an English singer, songwriter, and musician, born on June 24, 1945, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK. He began his career as a founding member and singer in a band while still in school in April 1962, remaining with the group until it disbanded in 1968. After a brief period in the insurance business, he revitalized his music career with several singles in 1969 and released his debut solo album, "One Year," in 1971. This album was co-produced and partly co-written by a co-founder of The Zombies, who was enjoying significant success in the USA with his progressive rock band at the time. Blunstone and his bandmates would later reunite in The Zombies in the early 2000s and continue to tour the world when not hindered by an ongoing pandemic.
