Collie Ryan is a student of Theosophy who, in 1973, privately pressed three records with the support of her friends from New Age Farms, a carrot and fresh juice company in Lompoc, California. These records were distributed at events held at the Sun and Earth Health Food Store and Restaurant in Santa Barbara. The songs primarily explore the Theosophical concepts of karma and reincarnation, featuring a lovely and subtle quality that often leaves listeners unaware of their underlying meanings unless pointed out.
