Combo Palacio is a musical group originally from Lima, Peru, known for its tropical music. The name was adapted to appeal to the Colombian market, where they achieved significant success. The concept of Combo Palacio was developed by musical producer Chombo under the company Infopesa, drawing inspiration from Puerto Rican salsa and Colombian cumbia. In the late 1980s, the name became a brand of Peruvian salsa associated with Infopesa, being reused for recordings by other bands managed by Maraví, such as Grupo Fantasía, Armonía 10, and Grupo 5. This concept was eventually abandoned by the end of 1986.
