Compass Point All Stars is a house band from the Bahamas, established in 1977. The members of the band appeared on many classic releases from the late 1970s and early 1980s, but they were usually credited individually rather than by their collective name. One of their notable tracks, "Peanut Butter," was reworked to become "Pull Up To The Bumper." The band featured a mix of Jamaican musicians, including the rhythm section of notable artists, alongside a British guitarist known for his collaborations with various musicians. Additionally, they included a French synthesizer expert with Beninese origins, who contributed a reggae flavor to the songs of pop stars.
