Connie Francis was an American pop singer of Italian descent, born on December 12, 1937, in Newark, New Jersey. She gained fame for her international hit songs, including "Who's Sorry Now?", "Lipstick on Your Collar", "Where the Boys Are," and "Stupid Cupid." Throughout her career, she topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart three times with "Everybody's Somebody's Fool," "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own," and "Don't Break the Heart That Loves You." Connie was recognized as the top charting female artist in the United States during the late 1950s and early 1960s. She passed away on July 16, 2025, in Pompano Beach, Florida.
