Conon de Béthune (before 1160 - 17 December 1219) was a French crusader and "trouvère" poet, born in the former region of Artois, now part of Pas-de-Calais. He became a senior official and ultimately served as regent of the Latin Empire of Constantinople. Alternative spellings of his name include Coesnes, Quenes, Conain, and Quenon. Conon is believed to have died in Adrianople.
