Convocation is a band formed in Helsinki, Finland, that began as a death metal project before evolving into a darker, doom-influenced sound. Their music is characterized by heavy, slow compositions and an experimental approach that incorporates synths and organs. Thematically, their lyrics focus on themes of hatred towards humanity and apocalyptic scenarios. Their album "Scars Across" was created over two distinct periods, with about a year between the sessions until everything came together.
