Coppé, pronounced Co-Pay and often written as Coppe', spent her childhood between Japan and Honolulu, Hawaii, where she learned classical piano and ballet at a young age. After moving to Arizona, she established a studio and began exploring atmospheres and sounds in electronic music. Over the years, she has earned the affectionate title of "The Legendary Godmother of Japanese Electronica." Currently, she is based in Japan and manages her own label.
