Corpoparassita is an experimental band from Alessandria, Italy, known for their unique sound that blends elements of glitch, clicks & cuts, and microwaves. This collaborative project features several musicians and performers who aim to challenge and redefine the aesthetics of these genres. Their short album, lasting just over half an hour, showcases a series of grotesque soundscapes reminiscent of the works of filmmakers Jan Svankmajer and the Quay Brothers. By treating sound as an autoptic body, Corpoparassita delves into its essence, creating intricate and disturbing digital architectures that emphasize audible intervals and push the boundaries of what is heard.
