Cosmic Psychos is an Australian punk trio formed in the mid-1980s in Melbourne, Victoria. The band originated when Bill Walsh and Peter Jones, who were previously in another group that disbanded in 1985, invited Ross Knight to join them, leading to the creation of Cosmic Psychos. Robbie Watts replaced Peter Jones after the live album "Slave To The Crave" was recorded in 1990. In late 2005, after a long hiatus, the band returned to the studio to record "Off Ya Cruet!" with new drummer Dean Muller, following the tragic loss of Robbie Watts due to a heart attack. Despite considering dropping the Cosmic Psychos name, Ross Knight chose to continue the band with the support of Robbie's children and the fans. John (McKeering) Onya, a long-time friend of the band, was brought in to play guitar in 2006. A documentary film about the band, titled 'Blokes You Can Trust', was released in 2013.
