Cosmonauts is a garage/psychedelic rock band hailing from Fullerton, CA. Formed in 2009, the band was initiated by two members who share guitar and vocal responsibilities and have remained the only constant members since its inception. They expanded their lineup with a bassist and a drummer. James played bass on all releases through 2016 but left the band before their 2019 album. The drumming position has seen a constant rotation of musicians over the years, often filling in for touring purposes. One drummer played on the first album, and there was a period where a member from another band consistently filled the role, contributing to many albums and singles. However, many of their releases do not credit individual musicians, making it challenging to track the lineup. After the departure of the previous drummer, the band introduced a new bassist and drummer for their 2019 album.
