Courtney Barnett is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born on November 3, 1987. She played guitar with a grunge band from 2010 to 2011 and contributed guitar and vocals to a psych country band from 2011 to 2013. Barnett gained international acclaim with the release of her EP 'A Sea of Split Peas' in 2013. Her first solo album followed in 2015, which she promoted through a tour across the USA, Europe, and Australasia.
