Cozy Cole was an American jazz drummer and bandleader, born on October 17, 1909, in East Orange, New Jersey. He passed away on January 31, 1981, in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his career, he performed with various notable artists, including Louis Armstrong's All Stars.
